Synchrotron users

This page contains information for users or prospective users of the Australian Synchrotron who are based at Monash.

The MCSS can assist Monash researchers by providing advice and assistance with:

• Assessing whether synchrotron techniques and capabilities would be suitable for particular research problems;
• Choosing an appropriate synchrotron facility and beamline at which to carry out experiments;
• Formulating applications to access synchrotron facilities, including technical advice on methods and techniques
• Carrying out of experiments, where appropriate and practicable, for example, in the case of new or inexperienced users.
