Available synchrotron facilitiesAustralian SynchrotronThe Australian Synchrotron officially opened on 31 July 2007 and has an initial suite of 13 beamlines, 9 of which are currently under construction or have recently been commissioned. These will become progressively available to users as they are fully commissioned.
Overseas synchrotronsThe Australian Synchrotron also administers access to a number of other Australian government supported synchrotron facilities overseas. These were formerly administered by the Australian Synchrotron Research Program. Facilities supported:
