  • The development of Synchrotron Based Spectroscopies (particularly soft x-ray techniques for application to coordination chemistry)
  • The coupling of synchrotron based experiments and theoretical models to understand catalytic reactions. Current focuses include:
    • Clean Energy Production
    • Environmental Chemistry
  • Bioinorganic Chemistry and Biogeochemistry
