Background

Anand received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Visveswariah Technological University (VTU), Bangalore-India, in 2003, majoring in Telecommunications Engineering. He proceeded to complete his Master of Engineering from RMIT University, Melbourne in 2005, specialising in Microelectronics. He is currently in the process of completing his doctorate research work from Victoria University and is working at Monash Centre for Synchrotron Science (MCSS) as an ASIC Research Engineer.

Research Intrests

He is in the process of submitting his doctoral dissertation titled "Reconfigurable Analog to Digital Converters for Ultra Wideband Radios". His work primarily looked into the design and implementation of reconfigurable data converters for use in Ultra Wideband devices, having applications in Bio-Medical Devices, Transport - Collision Avoidance and Detection Systems, SOHO environments amongst others. His background has always been into the design of integrated circuits and systems and brings that knowledge to use in his current research at MCSS, working on the design of an ASIC for the Hybrid Pixel Detector Programme.

Previous research projects involved the design, analysis and implementation of a Microfluidic Waveguide for high speed communications at RMIT and Design of Moving Multi-Target Radar Simulator at British Aerospace-Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (BAe-HAL), India.
